Bahrain’s foreign minister likely to arrive in Pakistan today

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Bahrain Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa is expected to reach Pakistan on Monday.

As per details, the Bahrain official will arrive in the country by evening today. He is likely to call on Prime Minister Imran Khan and other officials of the foreign ministry during his visit.

It may be recalled that last month, the Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa had called on PM Imran and expressed satisfaction on the current level of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of defence.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Khan also said that Pakistan values its fraternal ties with Bahrain and had an abiding interest in further augmenting these relations in all spheres.

During the meeting, Lt. General Al Khalifa had extended invitation, on behalf of the prime minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to PM Imran to visit Bahrain. The premier had accepted the invitation and reciprocated by extending invitation to the prime minister of Bahrain to visit Pakistan.
