Bahria’s plea seeking delay in payment of Rs. 460B rejected by SCP

ISLAMABAD: Bahria Town’s plea seeking 3-year delay in the payment of Rs. 460 billion (citing recession due to Pandemic) for land purchase,  has been rejected by the Supreme Court of Pakistan here today. 

Bahria Town has sought freezing of the payment plan issued by the SC, requesting that the payment of Rs. 2.5 billion monthly installments be deferred for three years.

The application, filed by Syed Ali Zafar Advocate on behalf of Malik Riaz, was heard by a three-judge bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan.
