KALAT (BALOCHISTAN): Security forces carried out an IBO here on Monday (12th Jan, 2026) and neutralised four militants during an intense exchange of fire.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the hideouts of the slain militants who were involved in attacking the Security forces, members of LEAs as well as civilians.

Militants have been incessantly attacking Security Forces, members of LEAs as well as civilians in Balochistan for quite some time now. They meet resistance from the state of Pakistan. For instance: Security forces carried out an IOB, neutralized 14 militants, and injured 20 others, in the Zehri area of Khuzdar on 4th Oct, 2025.

It is pertinent to mention here that security forces had neutralised 7 militants during a shootout that took place during an IBO carried out on 3rd October. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the possession of the slain militants of proscribed TTP. It has been calculated that 96 percent of terrorist activities are carried out in KP/Balochistan by militants who cross the porous Pak-Afghan borders.

Nine militants have been neutralised during two IBOs carried out on19th Dec, 2025 in Dera Ismail Khan.


Four sons of the soil (Havaldar Muhammad Waqas of Kotli, Naik Khanwaiz of Mansehra, Sepoy Sufyan Haider of Vehari & Sepoy Riffat of Leyyah) gave the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

According to details, militants damaged the outer parameter wall of the camp by crashing an explosive-laden vehicle on outer perimeter wall. The blast also wounded 15 civilian men, women and children.

FO categorically informed the Afghan Taliban regime that Islamabad reserved the right to defend its sovereignty and protect its citizens, and will take all necessary measures to respond to the wave of terrorism from Kabul.
