BALOCHISTAN: Nine people have been gunned down and two construction site excavator drivers abducted in the province on Saturday (9th November, 2025).
According to details, in the Sarbund area of Kalat, gunmen killed four people identified as tribal leader Shakir Saadullah Langove, his brother Shakir Khairullah Langove, Muhammad Karim and Muhammad Zahir. In Panjgur, two more people identified as Muhammad Zafar and Muhammad Naeem were shot dead by unknown assailants. Local authorities are investigating the incident trying to figure out the motive behind the murders that took place in Shpistan area of Balochistan.
In Goth Misri Khan situated in the Kachhi district, armed men shot Abdul Qadir Kurd dead. In Chagai District’s Dalbandin area, near DHQ, tribal Sardar Hussain was killed. Two excavator operators, who were employed by a construction entity, were kidnapped from Nasirabad District’s Notal PS area. Drivers were identified as Aashiq Ali Mohammad Hasni and Shakeel Ahmed Korai. Killing and abducting of workers has become a norm of life in Balochistan.
Security forces carried out an IOB, neutralized 14 militants, and injured 20 others, in Balochistan’s Zehri area here on Saturday (4th October, 2025).

It is pertinent to mention here that security forces had neutralised 7 militants during a shootout that took place during an IBO carried out in 3rd October. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the possession of the slain militants of proscribed TTP. It has been calculated that 96 percent of terrorist activities are carried out in KP/Balochistan by militants who cross the porous Pak-Afghan borders.

On 30th September, Natalie Baker, Chargé d’Affaires, US diplomatic mission in Islamabad, took to the X to state that the United States strongly condemned the heinous militants attack near Quetta’s FC headquarters in Balochistan that resulted in many tragic deaths and injuries.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a swift recovery to those injured. The United States stands in solidarity with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism to bring its people lives free from violence and fear. We remain committed to supporting Pakistan’s efforts to ensure peace and stability in Balochistan and across the nation”.

On 30th Sept unknown militants attacked the HQ of Frontier Corps (FC). The blast claimed lives of ten (including 4 soldiers) and injured 32 others (including women and children). According to details a suicide bomber crashed his IED-laden vehicle on the batiment of FC headquarters.
