ISLAMABAD: Ahead of President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s formal visit a 68-member ministerial delegation led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov arrived here on Sunday (24th Nov) evening.
The visit comes after Pakistan and Belarus in September agreed in principle to sign a MoU to establish a trade roadmap for 2025-2027. PM Shehbaz Sharif on 31st May, 2023 said Pakistan greatly valued its cordial and broad-based relations with Belarus.
He also affirmed Pakistan’s commitment towards building mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarus in all areas, including economic, agriculture, science and technology, information technology, education, and culture domains.
