Beware teens! Stop popping out lethal diet pills!!

AIMAN INAM

LONDON: The craze of being skinny is soaring among young people particularly teens.

Therefore, in order to look as fit as a fiddle, they opt for different harmful options one of which is popping out diet pills.

Nevertheless, such supplements could potentially mess with their hormones, development and psychological health, claimed a latest research.

Academics from the University of Minnesota revealed that diet pills are considered detrimental for all but predominantly teenagers.

Such medications contain lethal chemicals that affect the body systems and some nutrition such as iron and calcium.

It is pertinent to mention here that when the children and adolescents are growing, even a petite deficiency in energy can prove to be hazardous.

If someone exceeds its consumption, they might end up mounting irregular heart tempo, unusual bleeding and fatal heart attack.

As per the estimates, approx 63 percent teen girls have been reported adopting unhealthy weight control approaches in order to be slim.

It is worth mentioning here that officials should take strict measures against the manufacturers of such harmful pills.

Also, advertising companies should restrain minting money deceitfully endorsing those detrimental products.

To be fit is everyone’s desire and it is a healthy wish. However, one should watch out if their desires become obsessions.

Remember! Being slim is not necessary but being healthy is. Therefore, eat healthy, do workout, take ample sleep and be happy!
