Bilawal joins Candle-Light vigil in memory of APS Martyrs

ISLAMABAD: An event was held at Zardari House in Islamabad to pay tribute to the martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar on Wednesday.

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also in attendance.

On the occasion Quran Khawani was held and prayers were offered for the martyrs.

Children from Sweet Home who hail from Swat and WANA especially participated in the event. After Quran Khawani candles were lit in memory of martyrs of Army Public School.

Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Sherry Rehman, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Dr. Azra Pecheho MNA, Senator Rubina Khalid, Zamurrad Khan, Faisal Karim Kundi, Dr. Nafisa Shah, Shagufta Jammani MNA, Rahim Dad Khan, Shaukat Basra, Ramesh Lal MNA, Imran Ashraf, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Rukhsana Bangash, Fauzia Habib, Amir Fida Piracha, Jamil Soomro, Murtaza Satti, Nazir Dhoki, Nargis Faiz Malik, Norin Sial and Sahibzada Zulfikar Ali attended the event.

A delegation of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also had a meeting with Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The delegation consisted of Rahim Dad Khan, Faisal Karim Kundi, Liaqat Shabab, Humayun Khan, Akbar Khan, Tehmash Khan, Zulqurnain and Zulfikar Afghani.

A delegation of Human Rights Cell PPP led by its central coordinator Dr. Nafisa Shah also met Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and presented him a report regarding human rights situation in the country.
