Bilawal, Sherry to be the guest in Obama’s ‘prayer breakfast’

WASHINGTON: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sherry Rehman will attend the US National Prayer Breakfast today(Thursday), said a press release issued by PPP media cell.

“PPP leaders would urge Mr Obama to help end the alleged victimisation of his party leaders during the current anti-terrorism campaign,” read the press release.

US President Barack Obama will be the chief guest and the main speaker at this annual event. Every US president since Dwight D. Eisenhower has participated in the prayer breakfast.

The Fellowship Founda­tion, a Christian organisation that promotes religious harmony, hosts the prayer breakfast on behalf of members of the US Congress.
