PESHAWAR: Security officials foiled a terror bid to target students and troops in the city here today.

According to sources, the Peshawar police officials spotted an improvised explosive device (IED) along the wall of school under the garbage.

Later, the bomb disposal squad defused the bomb, which could have caused a great amount of damage.

The security personnel defused the same kind of device earlier this year implanted alongside the road to target a police mobile at Aman Chowk.
