Businessmen urged to benefit from amnesty scheme

LAHORE: Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) expert Rehmatullah Javed Sunday stressed the business community and wealthy people living in the country and abroad to benefit from the amnesty scheme to legalize their undocumented assets/ money.

Talking to the media here, he said that business community welcomed the extension of amnesty scheme. Rehmatullah suggested to the authorities concerned to utilize the money being collected under the amnesty scheme on the projects of national importance such as the building of dams, especially, water management, skill development for projects of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), youth empowerment, special economic zones for SMEs and promotion of hybrid agricultural techniques. He said: “We all will have to strive to ensure greener, peaceful, developed and prosperous Pakistan.”
