Cabinet Meeting: Nawaz Sharif’s foreign visit as PM cost exchequer Rs. 1.8b!

ISLAMABAD: PM Imran Khan has discussed socio-political and economic issues with members of Federal Cabinet here today.

Shafqat Mehmood  (Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, and Federal Minister for National History and Literary Heritage) while briefing the Media about the meeting told that Nawaz Sharif during his time of premiership remained out of country for 262 days.

According to Shafqat Mehmood  the deposed PM had spent 1.84 billion rupees on his foreign visits.

Nawaz Sharif visited London 24 times and spent 223.9 million rupees on these trips. He visited Saudi Arabia 17 times costing 120 million rupees to the treasury.
