Campaign against tax defaulting vehicles

KARACHI: The teams of Excise & Taxation Department during its on-going campaign against tax defaulting vehicles, checked more than 10,000 vehicles across Sindh Province so far.
Director General, Excise and Taxation Shabbir Ahmed Shaikh said in a briefing about the campaign to Mukesh Kumar Chawla, the minister of his department, a statement said here today. He informed that the special campaign will be continued till 15th January.
He informed that the extra counters had been set up at Civic Centre office of Excise, Taxation for facilitation of Motor Vehicle Taxpayers.
The Director-General hoped that his department would achieve tax collection target of the current year.
