Champions Trophy victory: Bahria Town to give 10 kanal plot to Fakhar Zaman, Rs10m to each player

LAHORE: Bahria Town has announced prizes for Pakistan cricket team which won the Champions Trophy final against India.

According to CEO Bahria Town Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik, a 10-kanal plot will be given to century-maker Fakhar Zaman and Rs1m each will be awarded to all the players who played the historic match at Oval.

Ahmed Ali Malik said that Malik Riaz Hussain has also congratulated the team for their success and wished them best of luck for the future.

“Our national team is the pride of the country,” he said.

The CEO said that Bahria Town is playing an important role in the promotion of sports in the country. The biggest cricket stadium is under construction in Bahria Town Karachi which will have seating capacity for 50,000 people.

“The stadium will open opportunities for the resumption of international cricket in Pakistan,” Ahmed Ali said.
