SANA MAHMOOD

INDIANAPOLIS: Following her meeting on Sunday with Dalai Lama here American pop-singer Lady Gaga has been added to a list of hostile foreign forces banned by China’s Communist party. Beijing has also shown its anger towards Dalai Lama by calling him ‘a wolf in monk’s robes’. The duo claims to have talked about Yoga.

A 19-minute video that Gaga has posted on her face-book account shows them discussing various aspects of detoxification, mental health, meditation etc. Gaga, whose 27million albums have been sold so far, met Dalai Lama ahead of a conference in Indianapolis.

Lama, who fled into exile in March 1959, says that he only seeks autonomy for Tibetans. But China accuses him of being a separatist conspiring to split the Himalayan region from mainland to establish his theocratic empire there.

But China’s rulers consider him a separatist who they claim is conspiring to split the Himalayan region from China in order to establish theocratic rule there.

Concerned Chinese authorities have instructed all the Chinese websites and media organizations to stop uploading or distributing Gaga songs. Party-controlled media outlets have also been asked to condemn the Gaga-Lama meeting.
