Chitral Attack: Pakistan Issues Demarche to Afghan Cd’A

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has issued a dimarche to Afghan Chargé d’affaires to protest against his country’s failure to stop terrorist attack Wednesday (7th of September< 2023) on two military posts in Chitral.

This was stated by Interim FM during a Presser held here on Saturday (9th of September, 2023): “Pakistan registered a strong protest over the incident, summoned the Afghan Cd’A in Islamabad yesterday and handed over a protest note (demarche) to him.”

It may be recalled that a skirmish took place between terrorists attempting to enter Pakistan and border guards on Wednesday.

During the shootout, according to ISPR four soldiers lost their lives while six militants were neutralized.
