CJP asks judges to avoid too much suo moto notices

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has asked the judges to avoid taking too much suo moto notices.

Addressing a ceremony here today, the CJP said that courts and judges should only take suo moto notice on issues of national importance.

He also pledged to solve the matter of using authority as early as possible.

During his address, CJP Khosa said judiciary was committed to play its role as per the law and the constitution.
