Clashes between Marwat and Betani tribes in KP claim 14 lives

TANK (KP): Bloody clashes between Marwat and Betani tribes have claimed 14 lives here today.

According to details in order to take revenge of the killing by Betanis of two of their tribesmen near Amakheal village Marwat tribesmen too shot two members of Betani tribe dead near Amakheal pump area.

Then Marwat tribesmen opened fire on a bus carrying Betanis killing nine onboard the vehicle. Two got injured too. So far no FIR has been lodged nor any arrest made. All 14 bodies and two injured had been transferred to District Headquarters Hospital here.

KP CM has directed KP Police Chief to arrest the culprits and submit an inquiry report urgently. It is pertinent to mention here that such clashes often occur due to inter-tribe enmity.
