KARACHI: Security audit and verification of students of all institutions would be carried out in order to ascertain if they are breeding terrorists.

This was stated here by the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah during his visit to Khawaja Izharul Hassan’s home.

Expressing his concern apropos involvement of students in terrorism the CM said: “Academically we will have to review our education system to make it more efficient, and simultaneously we will have to invest in a cyber system to keep necessary checks on social media which is importing terrorist proclivities through wire services”.

Asserting that apposite protection had been provided by Sindh Govt. to all those who required that, the CM asked Khawaja Izhar to review his security arrangements and inform him for any extra measures required.

It is pertinent to mention here that the man who had allegedly masterminded the attack on Khawaja Izharul Hassan on Eid day (2nd day of September, 2017) was a former student of Karachi University’s Applied Physics Department.
