Taliban claim responsibility for murdering Lt. Col. Ghafoor

HAYATABAD: Pak Army Lieutenant Colonel Tariq Ghafoor has been assassinated by an identified target-killer here at Ring Road on Friday.

According to details Lt. Col.  Ghafoor, a resident of Phase VI area, was shot dead near his home as he left a nearby mosque after offering juma prayers.

Though sources talking to NewsPakistanTV maintained that circumstantial evidence pointed towards old enmity as cause of murder, Taliban claimed responsibility of his murder without citing any cause.
