Constant outage at school renders girl unconscious

AIMAN INAM

KARACHI: Though the real sizzling summer is still a few weeks away, the specter of power outage continues to torment the citizens of the Metropolis.

Pathetic condition was manifested here on Wednesday when incessant absence of electricity rendered a girl unconscious while  taking exams at Government Primary Radiant School.  She had to be hospitalized for treatment.

The child was made to take tests in a suffocating and scorching   classroom as the school is sans electricity for the last four months.

Students have also been suffering from dearth of potable water for months.

Appallingly, though the school is located near Governor House, its entrance has been turned into a giant heap of trash.
