Consume green veggies to stay away from stroke: Study

WASHINGTON D.C: Experts reiterate on guzzling down veggies on a daily basis as those are considered health friendly.

Believe it or not but a latest research asserted that those, who tend to consume green leafy vegetables, are highly unlikely to go through stress and stroke.

For carrying this study out, investigators have been through the records of around 682 individuals with an average age of 53.7 years. All of the participants went through brain bleeds.

It has been reported that bleeding strokes accounted for 32.2 percent of all strokes emerged throughout the research.

Also, some 93.9 percent strokes occurred due to hypertension, 7.2 percent strokes because of structural abnormalities, whereas, a small amount of strokes as a result of some medical conditions or prescription.

As a matter of fact, people, who swallowed more green leafy veggies, have been reported with 64 percent lower odds of mounting a stroke.

The study was reported at the American Stroke Associations International Stroke Conference 2018.
