Coronavirus: 20% of humanity under lock down

KARACHI: 20% of world’s population is currently under lockdown as governments attempt to contain the menace of Coronavirus Pandemic world over.

While Pakistan has called the Army-in to restrain people from emerging out of their abodes, India too has imposed lockdown to force people practice social distancing. Similarly, in New Zealand too a 4-week lockdown has been ordered.

Italy. that had seen more deaths than China [mostly due to: i) its aging population; ii) initially it did not take the malady seriously and continued the fun and frolic as usual].  has been on a 14-day lockdown.
