Coronavirus: Designer masks, the new fashion accessory

PARIS: While fear of Coronavirus has forced management of many major events all over the world to cancel them, Paris Fashion Week is taking place as usual.

Despite the fact that coronavirus had spread to forty-seven countries with over eighty thousand reported cases globally, the only unusual thing witnessed at the Paris Fashion Week was emergence of Designers’ Masks! Well-timed accessory, designers’ face mask, has been introduced here by Marine Serre who had sent models down the runway in a variety of face masks. 

Incidentally, model Kozue Akimoto attended the show, wearing a red and black non-disposable face mask. It may be recalled that Serre had featured stylish anti-pollution masks in the fall/winter 2019 collection. According to the designer her work centers on “a decisive eco-futurist thematic and vision.”

Coronavirus: US, Australia, Thailand confirm first deaths

WASHINGTON: While Trump rejected the threat of Coronavirus Epidemic as a hoax, Governor Jay Inslee had declared state of emergency here on Saturday 29th of February, 2020 after first deaths were reported in US, Australia and Thailand.

Meanwhile, it is pertinent to mention here that over fifty sick individuals are being tested for virus in a nursing facility here.

Gov. Jay Inslee directed state agencies to use all resources necessary to prepare for and respond to the coronavirus outbreak. The declaration also allows the use of the Washington National Guard: “We will continue to work toward a day where no one dies from this virus,” he stated.

According to sources the man who died in Washington was in his 50s and had no travel history or contact with somebody suffering from the virus infection. He expired at Evergreen Health Medical Center, in the Seattle suburb.

Sources privy to NPTV have reported that the seul death was tip of the iceberg and many people were going to hospitals with Coronavirus symptoms.
