Coronavirus: Isolation wards established at 35 hospitals

ISLAMABAD: SAPM on Social Protection & Poverty Alleviation Dr. Sania Nishtar has informed that 35 fully equipped isolation wards have been established at thirty-five hospitals across the country to combat the coronavirus.

She advised that in case of dry cough, difficulty in breathing and fever one should immediately contact the physician.

Doctor Nishtar said in the absence of a vaccine doctors were presently using medicines available for its treatment. SAPM, while emphasizing on maintaining cleanliness, said that there was no need to panic.

According to her, during the recent visit of President Dr Arif Alvi to China, Beijing had assured to provide 300,000 face masks and 10,000 protective suits to Pakistan. She told that Pakistani students were safe in China.
