Coronavirus: Sindh minister claims decrease in cases

KARACHI: Sindh Health Minister Azra Pechuho has claimed that following the lockdown cases of Coronavirus transmission decreased in the Province. particularly in the Metropolis.

Calling upon people to stay at home she stated:“We have seen a decrease in the number of new infections over the past couple of days – thanks to Karachiites for their cooperation.” 

Health Minister, warning that local transmission in Karachi was a big challenge, informed that 14 patients in Sindh (out of which ten in port city) had recovered and returned to their families.

She said  high rate of recovery was due to  timely diagnosis. The minister further said that government foots the treatment bills of all COVID-19 patients.

Speaking about quarantine at Sukkur she informed that 265 tested positive while 3,149 did not have Coronavirus in their bodies.
