Corps Commander Karachi calls on CM Sindh




KARACHI: Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday, sources said.

Both discussed issues pertaining to law and order, National Action plan, and targeted operations in Sindh.

“In a one-on-one meeting, Lt-Gen Mukhtar and CM expressed commitment to continuing the targeted operation in Karachi and lauded the role of police, Rangers and intelligence agencies,” a spokesman for the Chief Minister’s House said.

According to him, both discussed the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) in its true letter and spirit.
