LAHORE: An accountability court on Tuesday extended physical remand of an alleged frontman of Shehbaz Sharif family till May 21 in money laundering case.

Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials produced the accused, Muhammad Mushtaq, before Accountability Court Judge Syed Jawadul Hassan on expiry of his physical remand.

The investigation officer submitted a progress report and stated that further physical remand of the accused was required.

He submitted that various accounts used in the process were yet to be traced, whereas 200 accounts were used for transactions.

The court after hearing arguments reserved its verdict on remand plea but later, it extended the physical remand of the accused for another 14-day.
