KARACHI: According to the Sindh Health Department, two passengers who landed at Jinnah International Airport here on Friday (5th of Jan, 2024) from abroad, have shown symptoms of new COVID-19 variant JN.1.
One of the passengers is 60-year-old who arrived from Jeddah, while the other, who came from Kuala Lumpur is 53.
Both the passengers have been asked to remain in their house during the quarantine period.
