KARACHI: The government of Sindh recently announced to ease lockdown restrictions in the province and allowed the businesses to resume after following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The decision was taken after the federal government and the National Coordination Committee meeting announced that the lockdown restrictions were being eased to provide relief to the traders’ community as well as people.

A day after Sindh government announced relaxation in virus lockdown, spokesman Murtaza Wahab requested the people to stay alert and take all the precautionary measures while venturing out of their homes.

“We are still in a dangerous situation and we need to be careful. Easing the lockdown restrictions doesn’t mean that we should crowd the markets and risk lives of ourselves and other people,” he said in a statement on Monday.

The spokesman also urged the masses to wear masks and observe social distancing when outside.

“Coronavirus is a reality and we will have to take precautions to survive this,” he added.
