COVID-19: People should be more and more careful during Eid: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that coronavirus situation has not normalized in the country yet and people should be more and more careful during Eid meeting and gathering.

“Lifting lockdown doesn’t mean you should throng the markets and become a victim off the pandemic. Everyone should be extra careful and ensure observance of preventive and safety measures on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr,” the premier said in a statement.

His statement came after a meeting with his adviser on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan who called on him at the PM Office here today.

PM said that the government was working out on a future strategy in view of the ongoing coronavirus crisis in order to avoid any risky situation.
