EDGBASTON: Green Shirts’ 26-year-old Skipper Babar Azam’s bat yielded 158 runs, yet Pakistan failed to deprive England’s B team of a series whitewash here on Tuesday (13th of July, 2021).
Rizwan supported Azam by scoring 74 enabling Pakistan muster 331 runs up for 9. Brydon Carse dismissed Azam as well as Rizwan. Commenting on today’s match Babar Azam held: “We’ve lost the series, but we want to win today and get some momentum for the T20 series…We’ve struggled in the last two matches, but we’ll try our level best today and we’re looking forward.”
