Cricket 3rd T20I: Rain disrupts the match between Pakistan and WI

GUYANA: Providence Stadium here was the venue where Green-shirts and West Indian cricketers converged (on Sunday 1st of August) to play 3rd T20I, but the play had to be abandoned due to rain. 

West Indies captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and chose to bat first. Andre Fletcher and Chris Gayle scored 15 runs off eight deliveries. For today (1st of July, 2021)’s match WI have brought in all-rounder Andre Russell as opening batsman, while Pakistan had also replaced Shaheen Shah Afridi by pacer Haris Rauf.

It may be recalled that the first match was also abandoned due to heavy showers. In the second match played on Saturday 31st of July, Pakistan managed to beat W.I by 7 runs:

The fourth and final T20I between Green Shirts and West Indies cricket teams is scheduled to be played here at Providence Stadium on Tuesday 3rd day of August.
