Cricket: Green shirts declared after mustering 510 runs up

HARARE: Pakistan team declared after scoring 510 runs for eight here at Harare Sports Club on Saturday 8th of May. 

Abid Ali’s 215 runs and Nauman Ali’s 97 runs contributed enormously towards allowing Pakistan set huge target for the hosts. Their bats yielded 169 runs off 199 balls. Zimbabwe, that lost four wickets were in grave trouble. Kaia, who made 48 runs, was the top scorer of host team that was playing sans top three batsman who were missing due to injuries.

Zimbabwe bowlers too took a hammering when during afternoon when Abid and Nauman scored 169 runs off 199 balls for the eight wicket. From PGreen Shirts’ side Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi and  Sajid Khan all took wickets as only Regis Chakabva, on 28 not out, was able to reach double figures.
