Cricket PSL IV: Islamabad eliminates Karachi from PSL 2019!

KARACHI: In the first PSL IV eliminator defending champions Islamabad United clashed with Karachi Kings here today at the National Stadium and grasped a four-wicket win.

In the 32 matches of PSL- IV played so far, only twice captain (i.e. Karachi’s) elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Karachi Kings attempted to muster-up a huge score but managed to make only 161 runs for 9.

It is pertinent to mention here that Karachi and Islamabad clashed twelve times in the four PSL matches played so far. Out of these  Islamabad won eight matches while Karachi emerged victorious only four times.

In the second eliminator Islamabad United will face Quetta Gladiators to go to the final tomorrow (Friday 15th of March). Final will be played on Sunday (17th of March) at the National Stadium Karachi.
