Cricketer Daren Sammy to be decorated with highest Pakistani civilian award

KARACHI: Cricketer Daren Sammy has taken to the Twitter to hold: “I am truly honored to be given this civilian award. We took a small step in the right direction in 2017 and look at us here today. All the foreign players played their part. Thank u Pakistan for the love shown to us. We only want U to experience cricket at home.”

He was referring to the announcement that President of Pakistan would decorate him with the highest civilian award of the country and the honorary citizenship.
