DawnNews employees shot and injured in Landhi on Wednesday night

KARACHI: DawnNews employees transport incharge Hakim Khan and 40-year old driver Yousuf have been shot and injured – one in the neck other in the leg – here in Landhi 89  on Wednesday night.

The injured have been taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.

Inspector General Sindh Police, taking notice of the incident, has instructed the area SSP to immediately reach the crime scene and take measures in order to apprehend the culprits. DIG East has been ordered to conduct the inquiry of the incident. 

Last November too DawnNews technician Hassan Mateen was gravely injured when the channel’s DSNG was attacked in Essa Nagri area of the Metropolis.
