KARACHI: Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar called on the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industries (NKATI) here on Friday.
DG was welcomed by Chairman NKATI Iqtidar Ali and Chief of Crime Monitoring Cell Asif Maqsood Tipu. He lauded its performance while visiting the Cell.
Later DG Rangers met the members of NKATI and assured them that by means of patrolling, Rangers personnel will endeavor to end crime in the Industrial Area.
DG Rangers advised the police officers present on the occasion to take action to end the street crime.
Terming Karachi as country’s economic jugular vein he said that diligent Urdu-speaking community living here was the societal asset of Pakistan. Recalling their contribution, he said that was not only valued in military but also in all sections of life.
Thanking DG Rangers Sindh, Association members reiterated that they would support LEAs in fight against country’s enemies.
On the occasion NKATI members presented a commemorative plague to DG Rangers, Sindh.
