Dictator general Pervez Musharraf dies in Dubai

DUBAI: Military dictator general retired Pervez Musharraf died in American Hospital here on Sunday (5th of February, 2023) at the age of 79.

He was living in Dubai since 1916.

Pervez Musharraf was born on 11 August, 1943 in Delhi.

His family opted to call Karachi its home following the 1947 events.

After his schooling from Saint Patrick’s Pervez Musharraf joined Kakul’s PMA from where he graduated in 1964.

Young Pervez Musharraf was commissioned in Pak Army as second lieutenant.

On 7th day of October, 1998 he was made the COAS superseding senior generals.

He was indicted for abrogating the Constitution on 3rd of November, 2007 and was awarded the death sentence in December, 2019.
