Former dictator Pervez Musharraf laid to rest

KARACHI: Malir Cantonment’s Polo Ground here was the venue where namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayers) of former dictator retired general Pervez Musharraf was offered on Tuesday (7th of Feb 2023), following that he was laid to rest at Military Graveyard.

Conspicuous among others who attended the prayers there were:

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad, former army chiefs Qamar Javed Bajwa, Ashfaq Parvez Kayani /Aslam Beg…

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Dr Farooq Sattar, Mustafa Kamal, Amir Muqam, Imran Ismail, Javed Jabbar, Shabbir Zaidi and Bilal (son of the deceased).
