DS Railways for maximum facilities for passengers

MULTAN: Divisional Superintendent (DS) Railway Ameer Muhammad here today directed the officers to ensure maximum facilities for the passengers in order to provide the sense of satisfaction during traveling.
Addressing a safety conference, he said that respect of passengers and facilities for them should be the top priority. He expressed concern over misbehaving by the railway officers with the passengers and said that strict disciplinary action would be taken against the employees.
The DS said that officers and subordinates equally contribute for the department by their hard work. He said that his office is open round the clock for the welfare of the staff.
He claimed that railway employees of Multan division have planted 150,000 saplings during the safety drive adding that not only employees would get benefits of these saplings but also the next generation.
Divisional Transportation Officer Tahir Masood Marwat, Divisional Mechanical Engineer Shahzad Javed, Divisional Executive Engineer Abid Razzaq, and others also addressed the conference.
