DUBAI AIR SHOW: A Tejas jet, manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics crashed here on Friday (21st Nov, 2025) during an aerial display here at Al-Makhtoum International Airport.

IAF, taking to the X, informed: “An IAF Tejas aircraft met with an accident during an aerial display at Dubai Air Show, today. The pilot sustained fatal injuries in the accident. IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family in this time of grief. A court of inquiry is being constituted, to ascertain the cause of the accident.

GE maintained: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of the Indian Air Force Tejas fighter jet at the Dubai Airshow and extend our heartfelt sympathies to the loved ones of the pilot.” Biennial Dubai Air Show, that happens to be the third largest exposition of aviation industry in the world, started on Monday (17th Nov), and ended on Friday (21st Nov). Incidentally. Tejas crashed on the last day of the Show. But soon the jets were back in the sky above the site.

It is pertinent to mention here that the world’s largest Air Show happens to be Salon du Bourget (Paris Air Show), second is Farnborough (UK) and third is Dubai Air Show.
