RAWALPINDI: On the Special directives of City Police Officer (CPO), a comprehensive security plan has been devised to protect the devotees on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Barat.

According to security plan, as many as 500 policemen would be deputed at mosques, Imambargahs and other worship places here.

Police would establish special pickets on all the entry and exit points to keep a vigil on suspicious elements and criminals whereas the squads of Dolphin force would patrol the areas to avoid any untoward incident.

Setting off fireworks, firing and one wheeling would strictly be prohibited on the occasion and strict action would be taken against the violators as per law.
