ISLAMABAD: Strong tremors have been felt in capital city Islamabad and its adjoining areas.
Reports reaching News Pakistan said the earthquake that shook the country from Mansehra to Kasur, and other cities including Peshawar, Islamabad, Swat and Dir lasted for only few second.
The reports, however, carried no information about magnitude and epicentre of the earthquake.
No loss to property or life has been reported yet.
Fear and panic has gripped the residents, especially in the mountainous regions which received a 7.5 strong earthquake on October 26 – centred in the Hindu Kush, the 800km mountain range that stretches between central Afghanistan and northern Pakistan – leaving more than 300 people dead and over 2,000 injured.
