KARACHI: Since the crescent of Rabi-ul-Awwal was not sighted anywhere in Pakistan on Wednesday (4th of September, 2023) the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee proclaimed that the third month of Islamic calendar 1446 Hijri will commence on Friday (6th September, 2024) and the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) known as Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi will fall on Tuesday (17th of September, 2023).
