ISLAMABAD: The electoral college (Senators, MNAs and MPAs) will be electing the new president of Pakistan by means of a secret ballot on Saturday (9th of March, 2024).
Though it is believed that the joint PPP/PML candidate Asif Ali Zardari will be the winner, the other candidate vying for the post is Mahmood Khan Achakzai who is backed by the SIC (read PTI).
