Elon Musk meets Iran Envoy to UN

Elon Musk

MANHATTAN: Elon Musk met Amir Saeid Iravan, the Irani Envoy to UN for an hour at an undisclosed location on Monday (11th Nov, 2024), attempting to ameliorate the Tehran-Washington terms.

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, expressing his surprise over the piece ran by NYT, categorically denied news about the rendezvous. Although the meeting has not been confirmed, savants at the helm of affairs believe that Trump was serious when he talked about ending wars during his election campaign.

Irani Vice President for Strategic Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif, while talking to journalists at a Presser held here on Saturday (9th November, 2024), said: “Trump must show that he is not following the wrong policies of the past”. Calling on Trump to adopt new policies towards Iran, Zarif urged the president-elect to reassess the policy of maximum pressure he employed against Tehran during his first term.

It is pertinent to mention here that a day earlier American prosecutors had announced charges in a plot allegedly hatched by Iran to eliminate Donald Trump and a (dissident) Irani-US Media person. But the Foreign Ministry of Iran denied the allegations that his government was behind a plot against Trump, calling it totally unfounded.

President-elect Donald Trump has reiterated on Thursday (14th Nov, 2024) that his administration would work hard to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

He was speaking to the ladies and gentlemen at a gala for the America First Policy Institute at the Mar-a-Lago Club here: “We’re going to work on the Middle East, and we’re going to work very hard on Russia and Ukraine. It’s gotta stop. Russia and Ukraine’s gotta stop...

I saw a report today. Thousands of people over the last three days were killed. Thousands and thousands were killed. They happened to be soldiers, but whether they’re soldiers or they’re people sitting in towns, we’re going to work it.”
