ISLAMABAD: While charing a meeting of government’s economic team here today, PM Imran Khan has stated that conducive environment for business community would be improved facilitating economic development.
Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed Pakistan was experiencing economic stability today due to government’s efforts, with trust of investors and business community restored. He said that the Pakistanis working abroad were a great asset and all out steps would be taken for their facilitation.
Holding that the foreign remittances received from overseas Pakistanis were a milestone in national economy Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to ensure that money sent by overseas Pakistanis were received by their families without any deduction.
A proposed incentive package for overseas Pakistanis regarding transfer of foreign remittances through legal channels was presented to the Prime Minister. It contains proposals to give special incentives to banks and exchange companies to promote foreign remittances.
Pakistan Post’s official informed the meeting of government’s economic team that the number of post offices for providing the service of foreign remittances would be gradually increased to three thousand and two hundred from existing 240. Naya Pakistan Housing Authority’s Chairman briefed the on the steps for promotion of housing sector in the country.

ISLAMABAD: 312,000 young freelancing entrepreneurs were provided training under the DigiSkills program in one year.
