KARACHI: Unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on the vehicle of 62-year-old eye specialist Dr. Beerbal Genani killing him and injuring his 35-year-old assistant Dr. Qurutulain near the Lyari Expressway junction here on Thursday (30th of March, 2023).

According to Police sources Dr. Beerbal sustained two bullet injuries to his head and was already dead when brought to JPMC at 6.46PM.

Dr. Beerbal, former director health KMC, used to run his private clinic in Garden area of the Metropolis and was attacked when he was going towards Ramswami.
