KARACHI: Facebook’s Andy Stone has taken to the Twitter to state: “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience”.
According to details, tens of millions of users were impacted when a major outage had hit the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp in densely populated milieu such as Paris and Washington at 1545 GMT. Those who attempted to access Facebook in those areas received a message saying that something went wrong and they were working on that and would get that fixed as soon as they could.
PTA Porte-Parole, commenting on the outage, stated: “Facebook services (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus) have been affected internationally due to an outage. Further details are being collected.”
