Faisalabad Express inaugurated after 7 years

MULTAN: Divisional Superintendent (DS) Railways Ameer Dawood Pota inaugurated the Faisalabad Express today before its departure for Faisalabad after seven years.
A large number of people were present at the inaugural ceremony. They lauded the government initiative to relaunch the train service on this route. The Faisalabad Express left for Faisalabad at 7 am with a new composition of five economy coaches, one AC standard, one AC business, one parlor car beside one power and luggage van.
The train reached the destination at 10.30am, after passing through Khanewal, Abdul Hakeem, Shorkot, Toba Tek Singh and Gojra in three-and-a-half hours. On return, the train departed for Multan at 11 am and reached  its destination at 2.30pm.
